All About Pocket Knives

I got this knife from an old timer who said all he knew was that it has been in his shed for at least 30 or 40 years,maybe more. It has no markings or identifiers on it or left after much sharpening.
I am knew to knife makers and patterns but I am enjoying the new adventure. Can anyone determine a maker,brand or time period based on these pics?

Utica sportsman's knife; ca. 1950s-1960s. Very inexpensive back in the day. Sold on its own, and in a combo with a hatchet that also included a sheath that could hold both. I do have the hatchet, and there are no markings anywhere. I don't think either the knives or the hatchet were marked at all.

The ops knife was originally etched, the attached photo shows how it originally looked minus the tarnish.
