I have a Tested era peanut with that same diamond shaped shield and with the closed "C" in Case. Mine happens to have the saber ground blade though.

This shield looks to be a dead ringer for mine.

i saw that listing the other day while it was still active and the first thing i thought was the blades were more than likely replaced. it looks to me like a tested frame and shield but i think the blades have been replaced. ive never seen a 90s model knife with those bone handles or that shield.

One thing that bothers me about the frame is that there is no nail relief for the secondary blade on the backside. My Tested era peanut does have the nail relief and I just looked a Case XX and a Case XX USA (no dots) and they also have nail relief.

I don't have a dotted knife to compare. It may be that this knife does have the nail relief but it doesn't show up in the picture.
