Beautiful little whittler pattern knife. Ivory handles are a big plus. Levine's Guide says c. 1893. The lack of the word "England" in the stamp would put it right in that time frame before the 1890 tarriff act required a country of origin stamp. Knife has nothing to do with the more modern day Bulldog knives.

Beautiful vintage Sheffield sleeveboard whittler with ivory handles and no cracks. A very fine example of vintage Sheffield workmanship which has never been surpassed.

I have decided to sell my Casson knife but I am not yet familiar with how to go about it.
