I think they are called LIL COTTON SAMPLER. I bought them from Signing he can probably shed a little more light.

Hi Bama. Those are great knives. What are the handles made from? I have this one with Giraffe bone and marked 'Prototype' on the back of the blade. Can't get good pics today... light is poor. s-k

That one is very nice S-K , The two I have are Celluloid . One is feather, the other is liquid slate.

Cottons and I believe yours are actually acrylic handles Bama. Carbon steel blades and good little pocketknives.

No, I believe those are celluloid. I have never seen a Bulldog acryllic, but they do have 40 or so celluloids. They sorta took me off the mailing list, must have been an opinion I gave, I guess.

You're probably right Hukk but they sure don't look like celluloid to me but it would not be the first time I was wrong......ask my wifey, she knows.
How bout the new 2007s, are they celluloid? I know they're advertised as such but they don't look like my other cells. Still like them though. Here's a pic of three different knives, 1st is a 2006 Bulldog Barlow Kaleidascope, 2nd is a 2006 Z-Lox Stock Fight'n Rooster, 3rd is a 1st Gen. Bulldog Cuttin horse Coon Stripe. The only one of these that feels and looks different is the Bulldog Barlow with its more plastic appearance. Help Hukk.

I was thinking that the new Bulldogs are acrylic like the new Fight'n Roosters.

I certainly could be wrong though I do know for sure that the new Roosters are acrylic and are supposed to be guaranteed for life.

Sterling told me that. I asked him that very question last week about the Z-lox handle material.

Check out the Catalogs from Parker's Knife Collector Services. They should say, but on eBay, I see them sold as celluloid - which we KNOW means NOTHING! I have a couple of those 3 1/2 inch barlows tore apart, looked like celluloid to me, but really I popped those off so fast I never really looked.

Yes, the catalogs do say celluloid but I was thinking that SMKW said they were actually acrylic like the Fight'n Roosters. Several of us will see Buzz later this week, maybe one of us will think to ask.

You could find out right quick, celluloid or acrylic, with some heat!
Children don't try this at home without adult supervision.
