All About Pocket Knives

I picked up this 6OT today and as you can see it looks like a puppy gnawed on it. I'm thinking of stippling it. I've done several Glocks with good results. As I'm looking for something different I'd appreciate your input.

It would be different for sure. Show us some of your glock work.

Only problem with that is I decided I prefer the 1911 and sold all my Glocks.

I decided to do it! For now I just did the end where the dog chewed it. I kinda like it. Makes drawing from a sheath easy. I'm undecided as to do the whole handle or not. Should I or shouldn't I?

I'm torn, too. But...it looks pretty good...as is! What kind of bur did you use?

I used a pointed nail like attachment in a wood burning tool. It takes a light touch because it's so hot it'll create a bigger spot than you want. It's kinda rough when you're done so I scuffed it with 600 grit paper to smooth it out. Although it looks like it it's not abrasive when you're done.

It looks good as a high lite Byrd. I'd leave it but if I saw it all done I'd probably like that too.

Very neat! Definitely looks better than it did!

Thanks for the feedback guys. It does look better than it did. I think I'll leave it and carry it for awhile while I decide how far to go. Sometimes too much is too much!

I would leave it for now to carry and further meditate on. Looks good the way it is at this time.

Thanks Mike. I was following your Theraflu about the new scales on your 6OT and you did such a great transformation that I almost went for it on this one. The rest of the knife is solid so I took the easy way out
