An Ebay Robeson of Rare Pattern

This knife sold on Ebay last week.

I generally do not bid on Robeson knives much, anymore, but I was tempted on this one. I did not bid however.

I have never seen this pattern knife before, I don't believe.

Pattern number 622698.

3 1/2" long, so not a hefty knife.

Nice bone handles with a PocketEze shield.

Clip master and what appears to be a coping blade, although I suppose there is no guarantee that's its original shape.

Some wear on the blades and obviously sharpened.

These are the auction photos and should expand.

It's a pretty knife, I think.

Charlie,I think it is a reshaped pen blade.Notice the lack of a choil on the blade.

Point taken, Roger, but I have seen many Robeson knives that did not possess a choil.

I have also seen true coping blades on some older Robeson pens and Congress patterns and this one is not the same.
