Just found this site after buying the tidioute book, in tidioute while visiting and hunting with a freind who lives there. I have been a casual "collector" for some time and always have at least two knives with me at all times. I am a boat mechanic by trade and abuse my work knife (Kershaw)regularly. I have recently developed a liking of fixed blade knives and have some "strange old" knives I'm curious as to what they may be worth or not worth. Look forward to learning and will listen to whomever is willing to share their knowledge. Ed.
