All About Pocket Knives

Bought this one at the Antique store a little bit ago. Its a 2 blade. I like the frame. Thanks for looking!!

Thanks TW! Nothing in the Bluff. This one came from Farmington. Forever Antiques. They got a nice Remington Scout knife up there that I left lay. Don't know enough about Remington knives. They also got a 1939 Worlds Fair knife up there. Just giving you some inside info. They got a couple Diamond Edge Shapleigh too and some Keen Kutters. This Winchester frame reminded me of the Camillus 72 frame but just has 2 blades. Nice and slim and just the right length. The bone looks narly under a jewelers loop.

Nice. I rarely get to Farmington. If I do it for a service at the prison and those are at night.

The shop up at Bonne Terre just off of the 4-lane has had some good stuff in times past.

Thanks for the heads up. Took 67 all the way up to Festus so I drove right past Bonne Terre. Didn't stop at Bonne Terre. Me and the wife like to eat at Catfish Kettle in Farminfton. 5 pice fish fillets with some fried okra and pickled onions and cucumbers topped off with a slice of coconut creme pie the size of a dinner plate. Needless to say i am miserable. LOL.

Find a nice knife like that...and enjoy a good plate of catfish...life doesn't get much better

Wow!! Yours look GREAT! What can you tell me about the pattern and knife?? I have a few Vintage Winchesters but none quite like this one. Thank you for showing me your knife.

Thanks, I have always put the Winchester knives in the “top drawer”. I still have a 2914, 2943, 2980, and a English jack 2907 all in close to mint condition plus a big cattle pattern with the double fluted Carmen punch blade that I think is a 3979.

I like the old ones too. The vintage and antique ones. They are made very well. There is a Winchester thread under Knife Lore where you can view some nice ones. Have a good one.
