case xx barlow model 62099

I bought it at a road side sale,but I cannot find the model number 62099 the tang stamp is from 1940, it is a two blade barlow got it and a old Robeson strawberry bone two blade knife, but cannot find info on the case barlow got both for 5 bucks.

Pictures would be a big help, but the pattern number should read 62009 for a barlow.

It’s not at all unusual for Case knives from that time period to not have pattern numbers stamped on them.
You’ll probably get more responses to your post if you:
1. Post it in the General Knife forum or the Case Collectors forum. This is the “Tips and Tricks” forum which contains posts about how to navigate and use AAPK. Most people don’t look here that often.
2. Post some pictures of the knives so people can see what you’re asking about. Like the staying goes, “ a picture is worth a thousand words”.
