All About Pocket Knives

Looking for some info on a Remington mine looks like the image below except a lot more used and the main blade is slightly different. Mine also has a stamp like below which indicates 1924-1933. THe model number from the best I can read says R1623 (3) Bone handle. Any info would be cool
Funny I picked up a Bunch of old knives for 20 bucks, they all looked old and rusted but even as small as this one was it stood out/felt better than the lot of electritian knives and old boy scout knife. Even being old the fit and finish look nice and the 70% left on the blades is razor sharp.

The R1623 is an equal end jack with a clip and pen blade. Some had black fiber handles and other had black imitation bone handles. Some had a hole in the handle for a hook and chain so the knife could be carried in the pocket and the chain attached to belt, hard to lose a knife like that. In the mid 20's the knife sold new for 25 cents and was marketed as a boys knife. Its not uncommon to see unsharpened examples sell for over $200 today. They came from the factory 6 to a box. Heres a picture of one with the hole in the handle and the box they came in.

Well mine has been used alot main blade is at 70%, light corrosion throught out, but has great snap and handles are in good condition. This has sparked an interest in old knives for me the fit and finish on this is equal to my CASE knives. Thanks for the info
