Opinel's are pretty decent knives and that one looks like a keeper.
It reminds me of an old bruiser I have. 4 11/16" closed.

Joe, do you know manufacturer ? Looks like a "C" around "H" ?

i thought it was Russian, but I was corrected on that. I don't know who made it.
For lack of a better description I think the handles are Bakelite. Probably misspelled that.
I may have put it in Lee's Horticulture knives thread.

I can find 2 German knife manufacturers with a logo of C and H but neither is the same as logo on Hawkbill shown by FRJ.
