1983, Stag; excellent F&F, The joints of the blades and runups are nearly seamless. The blade etch depicts a lumberjack scene. The secondary spear point blade has a swedge, a very nice detail. I'd say this knife is very refined.

QS, when I saw Lumber Jack, I immediately thought of my old 858 Old Timer. Your Lumber Jack is a bit fancier than my 858. Yours reminds me of the Moose pattern of several brands. That one defiantly gets a ::tu:: !

Thank you John. I am awfully fond of this brand. The build quality is strikingly consistent. Excepting some Japanese brands, the BDs are as good as it gets imo. The advantage of GEC is the greater variety of materials and patterns. However, if the day comes when knife making goes full on robotic then I suppose consistency and uniformity will be universal.

Great knife QS. Handles are gorgeous. I like it when everything is tight like that. Great find. ::nod:: ::tu::

And hopefully you will yearn for those handmade Watervilles. :D ::handshake::

Thank you Mike. I was a little doubtful about ordering this knife, but it turned out well. Glad to have it.
