All About Pocket Knives

I haven't been able to work on knives for a few weeks now, but thought I would show a restoral I did a few months ago.
It is an old, unknown camping knife that I got in a mixed box of fixer-uppers. I think it may be of German origin (see the hollow bolsters in the bottom picture).
The Main had been replaced previously with an unmarked blade. It was peened in place using a nail, and the hole in the blade was too large for the nail, creating a HUGE wobble.

I worked on it in between other projects over a few months, finally drilling all of the holes larger to match the blade. This means that the bail no longer fits, but it is more comfortable in my pocket without the bail anyway.
The handles cracked and broke (one on removal, the other on installation), so I didn't put a final polish on this knife. I put it in my pocket instead!

That thing has a lot of parts!

It looks like a W.H. Morley & Son's to me. I did a restoration on one a while back as well. Would love to see how your's turns out.

"Morley" was an English sounding name used by A. Kastor a N.Y. cutlery importer on knives he imported from Germany from 1913 to about 1927. The Kastor family also owned of a knife manufacturing factory in Solingen Germany, but the Morley branded knives could have been made any of the 100+ knife manufacturers in Solingen about 100 years ago.

Mine is not quite as broad as the Morley that Rex redid (I had studied that post several times!).
I filled in a small bit of missing scale using dark epoxy. If this were a good or rare knife I would have replaced those scales, but I am just going to use it as an EDC.
I think this was the second knife I finished, and I did a lot of learnin'!!!

Reverand, I've got my eye peeled for the 3rd one. Bet you are already thinking about it.
