Help ID this knife

My first answer would be Schrade, but I would confirm with one of the AAPK folks that know more than me.

Since your knife is as long as it is, I will venture that it should be classed an "English Jack". Sure can't help with the maker. It sure fits the great category of a HOK!

The shape of the shield and the fact that the main blade is in front and the pen blade is in back, both suggest an early WR Case & Sons, Case Bros, or related knife. Hard to say much beyond that.

Thanks for the input. When I first got it I thought I could see a trace of the Remington logo, after I tried to clean the tang any trace of a tang stamp disappeared.

I looked at older Case stamps and they had one similar to Remington early on. All I could make out was part of a circle and that's what made me think Remington.
