Good Morning

New to the forum. Collected knives since a kid, found this very nice Switchblade at an Antique market last week. It is an 18 inch when fired Stag handle. Any more info would be greatly appreciated. I payed $75 for this, which hopefully was money well spent. Is says Rostrei Italy on the blade, it’s a very heavy thick knife, and fires with great force. The scales are truly stunning and seem to be aging and yellowing beautifully. A little play in the blade, which I would believe to be expected, with a knife of this size. The blade is a dagger style I believe with a drop point edge. I was not able to attach more pictures.

Cheers

Welcome to AAPK!!

Ten photos per post is the limit, but there is no limit to the number of posts one can make.

Just follow up your post with another and add your remaining photos.

You will be required to type something in the body of the post and something like "More:" is sufficient.

Not a knife that I would know anything about, but interesting and you take nice sharp photos. ::tu::

Your knife is a modern Italian Stiletto probably made by Campolin, they are well known for the larger knives out of Maniago. 75 bucks was a good deal.

Thanks, it is a very nice knife indeed. I have a couple of Latamas, and a few Beltrames but this is my new favorite.
