Since no one posts very often in this Forum, it's my Duty to do so!

I just bought one of these Benchmade "Dejavoo's" from the AAPK BLADES STORE a couple of weeks ago. After EDCing it at work for that length of time I have to say it's a really great everyday user. I have many tactical knives with G-10 handles but this is the first one with smooth G-10, which makes it very user friendly on my work slacks. This knife was designed by BOB LUM it's really a cross between a Benchmade and a Spyderco.

Here are some of the spec's.
Blade Length: 3.95"
Blade Thickness: 0.125"
Blade Material: S30V Premium Steel
Blade Hardness: 58-60HRC
Blade Style: High Ground Utility; Ambidextrous
Weight: 4.10oz.
Clip: Tip Down, Removable, Black
Lock Mechanism: Modified Locking-Liner
Overall Length: 9.12"
Closed Length: 5.17"

Nice one Mitch! It looks.......well.......effective! The thumb support on top makes it a serious looking knife.
I've always liked Benchmade knives, I carried a 710 for years. I recently started carrying the knife on the right (I forget the model number) then I lost the darn thing!
Now I use a GEC 4 my EDC.

Very nice knife, Mitch.
I really like that "Lum" blade shape. It strikes me as a very nice general purpose blade shape. I could see that as being a nice "in the woods" kind of folding knife, as well as a nice "in the city at work" knife.
Congrats and enjoy!

Good review Mitch. I had a 740 but ended up giving it to my son. I had really hoped that BM was going to make a real heavy duty tactical out of this one. The .080" liners from the 425 and the .160" blade thickness from the 630 and you would have had a real heavy duty cutter since that flat grind blade can really slice. Guess you can tell I really like the HD folders!!
