Tough as nails. I'd put money on it that he'll be up on that tractor about this time next year with a brand new leg befitting of his courage !

Dang, that's a gruesome story. Remember the young guy who was hiking alone, fell in a rock crevasse, a loose boulder pinned his hand. He was there for days until he used a cheap, dull pocketknife to take off his hand as the wrist, as I recall, and walked out and got help.

Not only is this guy tough as nails, he has a good attitude about a rather hard situation in losing a limb. Definitely someone to look to as a good example.
