All About Pocket Knives

a friend of mine has this knive and would like to know if anyone out there would know anything about it.It is a sliver pocket with two blads one is broken and a coke screw on it and a can opener. Now it say it made in Germany and it say on the side of it G.F. Blanke&Co. St Louis U.S.A on one side the other side says Blank's Kafeko
The Original Malted Grain Coffee . Can anyone help me

I have added two pictures to the post hope they can help you tell me something about it.

It is a champaigne pattern or bartenders knife. The little hole in the handle after the letters B.F. is a peephole. Hold it close to your eye and look through it toward a light and you should see a picture. Sometimes the lens or the picture is dirty or damaged and you won't see the picture. These are very sought after knives.

H Love those old champagne patterns. Your knife dates from around 1900 or so. Called a champagne pattern because of the wire breaker; the stout, curved, serrated blade for cutting the wires that held champagne corks. No can opener on this one. These were often imported by Kastor bros and others from Germany. Does your knife have anyother marks on the tangs at the base of the blades? s-k

Hi guys just wanted to thank you for all the info. you gave me on that knive> The man who owned it came over the other night and picked it so i cant tell you any more about i cant look at it if its not here Ha Ha. Any way i agve him one of your guy infomation the rest is up to him.
