Happy Monday (first additions from AAPK)

Happy Monday!
They don't come much greener than me. I haven't been a member of the board very long, two, three weeks. I've always had 4/5 EDC's on rotation since before Lou Reed encouraged us all to "Take a Walk on the Wild Side". My desk drawer was the receptacle for old friends long in the tooth over the decades. I digress, I found AAPK and have been lost in the Black Hole since. LOL
I've not considered myseld a pocket knife collector, but the weight of my bottom drawer testifies that I guess I am indeed, of sorts. Well As I said I've been lost it the Boards pages and understand that I don't understand anything. There's a lot of information contained in the volumes of content. After several weeks I understand so much more than I did a month ago and still don't know anything.
I did learn that there were many good knife manufacturers I had never heard of and that one in particular was making traditional pocket knives in traditional ways and of high quality materials. As you may have guessed by now, I caught the new pocket knife bug and began building a wish list from the enormous selection the AAPK Stores offer.
I resigned myself that I would begin my PK collection with patterns from either Queen Cutlery, Shatt & Morgan, or Great Eastern. My attack plan was to whittle the mfg. selection alphabetically (pun intended). Well I didn't get very far...
In the GEC selection of the store I found just what I was looking for! Go me!
My favorite handle material is Stagg. Over the years I've seen fewer and fewer true Stagg handles. So I found two knives that called my name. The wouldn't have it any other way than to come live here with me.
Much thanks to gunman724 for helping me with my selection. But most of all for your good communication and willingness to put up with my stupid Newbie question.
The Stagg on this Gunstock had me at hello.....gulp
So, that's the first pair. Now I'm on the hunt for a Barlow and Trapper with really nice stagg. Thank you for your support....
