Looking at the Remington gift pack of 400 rounds and a small folder for $18. I can use the ammo but wonder who or where the knife was made. Has the R on it. China I assume. Worth the buy? Thanks, Bob

Careful with those bargain .22 LR. The knife is likely Chinese as mentioned before.

I bought boxes of 525 Rounds .22 LR at Big 5 for about $10.00. Make a long story short, about 20% did not fire in 6 different guns. Half the rounds that misfired were put back in the guns and misfired again, the other half fired. They were Remington and I brought these unopened boxes back for a refund. The opened box went to a friend, his grandchildren are learning to shoot larger bore rifles, pretty simple to see a flinch in kids that won't admit it.

Hukks advice is very true. You have to watch out for sqibbs in that ecno box ammo. Besides not firing I've had several that only had the primer to fire and send the bullet only half way down the barrel. Makes for a bad second shot when that happens. If it doesn't sound right when the trigger is pulled, then stop and carefully check the firearm. That may save someone's eyes.
