Thanks for the kind compliment Travis.

That roo in your avatar looks like it is been working out hard. Unless it is my eyeballs his arms are buffed out. Is that the norm?

My Queen Winterbottom bone 76' and 78 tang stamps. And vintage Queen City heavy duty jack that's in wonderful shape. I'll throw in my 1981 dealer catalog for kicks.

Time to bump/update the thread. Quite a bit has happened around here since last post way back in June …. And as you can guess, quite a bit has changed with the ole' hoard.
A bunch of knives have come and gone since then, as with the winds of my "collecting" tastes. Still trying to decide what to stick too ….
Here's the latest rollcall, while i'm waiting for a nice display case, for my keepers ….

Note. I'll try get a better pic of my whole layout. Sideways shot of my temporary shelf does not work ::facepalm:: .

Those are all nice but both of those Schatt & Morgans in the top pic catch my eye. Is the one on the bottom left a Factory Sample 99 pattern? Very nice!

Thank you Railsplitter, and yes, it tis a factory sample. That I managed to snag off the bay by quite the chance. Funny thing, the other one sold just before it, there were only 2 made. Everybody wanted the other one for some reason, mine, nobody looked at the listing so 1 bid and buy, for a very good price I might add :D ::tu:: .

Thank you QS :D ::tu:: . I've been on the hunt for em' for awhile now. These are what I've managed to dig up, minus 1 I gifted to me bro. I really need to send a few away to get fixed up, and a couple are almost mint ::super_happy:: . For 80+ years old knives, they sure survived well.
I think I've seen enough knives by now to finally figure out what I want to stick to. Me thinks GEC's and old e/o's, throw in a bb imperial or two. Nice thing, I picked these all up from Tom Cosgrove for …. wait for it …. $15 each shipped :D . Can't beat those prices any day ::tu:: . Oh, and don't forget pen knives! And queens …. And Winchesters …. And ….
The hunt never ends ::facepalm::  . I still really enjoy queens, but sadly there is not enough $$$ to go around for every knife I would ever want. And not to mention other hobbies …. . Least i'm finally getting my life sorted out. Finally found a combo of meds/activities that are working ::ds:: . So feel up to keep the hoard growing  . And I don't know if I should stick to S&M's ::hmm:: . I know dad has a bunch that he will be looking to move later on. Decisions decisions.
Anyway, thank you all for looking and enjoying my collection with me :D ::tu:: .

David, I'm envious. That's just about the perfect way to store your collection. What was the original purpose of that cabinet?

Thought I would bring this thread back up and share some with you. In some of my "downtime", I was cleaning up some old machinist tool chests for knife storage. I finished one recently, so I decided to get my Schrade OT/open stock, along with some Imperials, out of their rolls and into some drawers where I can look at them more easily. Here's some pics...
