I recently started putting knives that are offered for sale in stores here on AAPK on the “wish list”. What happens to a a knife on your wish list if someone else buys it? Does it come off the list or is it marked as sold? Any other features of this that I should be aware of?

Mike, I didn’t either till this past weekend. I was looking at all the most recently listed knives for sale and saw on the screen down next to the buy is an add to wish list. So I started adding to the list. And of course I now have about 12 knives on there. So it made me wonder what happens when one sells?

I just double checked. When you go to the “buy” button at the top of this screen, then click on the drop down menu and click on any of the drop down menu items, it takes you to a screen that lists the knives most recently added to the oldest added. On that screen click on “more information”. The next screen has at the bottom “contact seller”, then “add to wishlist”, and over on the right is “add to cart”. That’s where you find the wishlist.

Thanks Mark!! One more thing. If you add a knife to your wishlist, I wonder if the seller can see that "someone" is interested, like on eBay, it tells you if someone is "watching" your item. It doesn't say who is watching, but someone. ::shrug::

Mike so far I haven’t seen a feature on my store that allows you to see that information like on eBay. But who knows? I didn’t know about this wishlist until last week.
I just checked and all 12 items are still in on my wishlist and marked as available. So I will have to keep checking back to see what happens if one of them sells.
After you add an item to your wishlist, you can view the wishlist by clicking on the Buy button at the top of this screen. Then select the type of knives you are looking for on that drop down menu. Then you will see on the line where you usually see notifications and private messages, there is a link to “my account”. When you click on that a drop down menu appears and you can then click on your wishlist and all the items appear there. I still don’t know if they drop out of the list or just get marked as sold and not available?

I've had a few on my wish list for quiet a while. I must want the things no one else does. Nice to go back and look them over on occasion.
