Seller says 1960's Queen fixed blade.
Sheath does'nt look to be original to the knife. ??
Any info or comments will be appreciated.

Can't speak for the authenticity, but it looks nice.

You are correct, the sheath is from a much newer generation than the knife. Knife could date to the 50s, was definitely around in the 60s.

I'm going with 1945-1955 with that tang stamp.

The original sheath would most likely have looked like or similar to this.

Thanks for that info Jerry. I will keep my eyes open for a correct sheath. Might not be too easy to find though.

No Jerry, I did not post in the wrong thread. "Garry Owen" is an Irish song adopted by the 7th Cavalry back in the civil war days. It was Custer's song also as he led the 7th to fame and genocide of native peoples and his demise. By the way there is a difference I think between that queen mark sideways as compared to perpendicular to the ricasso.

"GARRYOWEN" all one word
7th Cav never participated in the civil war.
Custer and one of his brothers was in the civil war but not with the 7th. I believe all 3 brothers died at the big horn.
Im proud I served with the 7th Cavalry in Uijonbu, Korea.

Yeah, we had a little PM discussion about GarryOwen shortly after he started posting on the forum.
As for a possible difference in the tang stamp, maybe but I'm sticking with what I posted.

You're right Garry, Custer was with the Michigan cavalry in the civil war. The song is spelled several different ways.

These are my other 2 Queen knives. Both have the same tang stamp as the fixed.
