Hello All,

I'm new to the forum and looking for positive identity on 2 Case knives.

1st is a 2 blade mother of pearl, about 3 3/8" closed.
Longer blade is 2" with markings of CaseXX, ….SS...., USA
Shorter blade is 1 5/8" marked with 079.

2nd is a 2 blade stag? handle, approx. 3 1/4" closed.
Longer blade is 2" and marked Case XX. The "C" in Case is large and underlines casexx.
Shorter blade is 1 5/8" with marking USA and 52156.

As a newbie and to make sure I'm doing it right, if I decide to sell a Woodard pocket pro where exactly would I list it?
Thanks much,
Dennis

Welcome to AAPK. Your MOP knife looks like an 82079 pattern from 1980. The second knife I can’t tell much about without better pictures. The 52156 pattern is called a Tuxedo. Up there in the header at the very top of the page, click on “Research”, then scroll down to the section on Case knives. There you will find information about how to identify and date your knives.

To sell anything here requires that you purchase a premium subscription or open a store. You can purchase a subscription by clicking on the “Premium subscription” section on the upper right part of this page. After you subscribe you can list it in the Knives for Sale or Trade. From the home page go to Knife Forums > Knife Commerce > Knives for Sale or Trade.

Unless you wish to conduct commerce here the site is free.
