I have sent an e-mail to Moderators Requesting my Account to be Deleted and Cancellation of Membership - Thank You ~

We can cancel your account but we cannot delete all of your posts. To do that leaves a hole in other people's topics and causes problems with topics you have started yourself.

You have a short period of time after you have made a post, I believe it's about 10 minutes in which you can erase what you have written. After that time it becomes permanent. Said something you didn't want to say you need to erase it quickly before it becomes permanent.

At your request I will delete your account it will still show the account name but it will no longer be an active account and you will not be able to login or to post.

Therefore at your request I am now deactivating your account and cancel your membership.

I have no idea why, but, then again, it's none of my business.

Mountain Man, if you do sneak back for whatever reason, know your posts and your pics were always a pleasure.

Canceling the account prevents anyone from going to his profile page and sending emails or PMs.

Canceling deletes all PMs in that person's box.

Seems kind of weird. On other forums I have seen folks do that after a flame war that just killed their desire to participate and made them want to forget that the forum even existed. Nothing like that happened here unless I missed a lot.
