All About Pocket Knives

Picked up a Buck 705 made in 1996 at a flea market for $5. I didn't even realize Buck made such a small knife, 2 inch blade, 2.5 inch overall. Tight blades, good snap, has a Texaco logo on the main blade, probably was a safety award item for someone. A well-make little knife. Maybe good for carrying at church, to sharpen a pencil or trim off a thread. Research shows Buck stopped making these in 2002.

Now that's a great lil' watch pocket knife! The Texaco logo is cool too. I thought all the 7XX series knives were on the same frame, but guess I was wrong.

Neat little knives. I've got one that was gifted to me by a friend but I think it's a little older.

Had a 705 arrive with a few other small knives today. Great little canoe pen although mine could be snappier for a single-spring knife.
They also made 'em without shields..
