I have had this pocket knife since I was either preteen or early teens. I am now 73 years young! My Dad’s boss Mr Whitney gave to him and in turn my Dad gave it to me. I was always taught to take care of valuable beautiful items by my interior designer Mom!

I was just curious as to the history of the knife as I am a former CBS News reporter and even its value.

Thanks
MR Valentine

Welcome, very cool knife with a great story. All I can offer is that INOX means stainless steel. Is this an automatic knife?

Welcome to the forums! I remember seeing these knives somewhere but can't recall at the moment. The lever on the top I assume is the blade lock release? The blade looks like it may have been made in France by either E.Renaud or possibly Eloi Pernet;both high end knife manufacturers.

Yes the lever does release the blade. I will researched the two blade makers. If you remember anything else about it please let me know. THANKS!

Well NO luck in learning more about my Gucci pocket knife. Not even the Gucci HQ knew anything! Of course the person I was dealing with was most likely not even BORN in the early 1960s!
