All About Pocket Knives

Hi all,

I just bought a new H&R medium congress with dyed blue bone handles. Today was its maiden voyage in the EDC rotation. While outside I picked up a stick and whittled on it a bit, and lo and behold some of the blue dye from the handles ended up on my hands!! Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to remove most, if not all of the dye from the handles without damaging the rest of the knife? I'm not as satisfied with the blue color as I thought I would be anyway.

I had the same problem with a new Schatt & Morgan I bought, and I removed the die with a little rubbing alcohol on a rag
