If you didn’t already have a good reason to absolutely not trust any government or politician here’s a good one out of Great Britain. Affixing GPS locators to every knife sold and strict penalties for carrying a knife off of your premises without a good reason. Sheesh!

Stay vigilant USA. This kind of “logic” will cross the pond eventually if it already hasn’t. It doesn’t matter if it’s firearms or pocket knives, none of us are safe from the nannies who think the best way to “protect” us is to make us completely helpless and dependent.

It's inane but there's not anything to it really, based on the little blurb. Just a guy saying what he wants to happen and delightfully getting ridiculed for his foolish words.

I think the reason you don't hear the term "village idiot" anymore is because all of them hold public office. And unfortunately, it seems that the European liberal mindset is becoming accepted by quite a few politicians in the States.

I think an even better idea would be to affix a tiny shocking device to a politician's nether regions and every time they said something stupid they would get zapped.It could be regulated by the amount of stupidity involved by the strength of the zap. This device would be required to be installed directly after they take the oath of office and could only be removed by a vote of 2/3 of the voting populace.

Now that is a fantastic idea!
