My brother and I bought a Crosman Air Rifle in the early 1980s, and this was a freebie. I think that we had to send back proof of purchase, and it was mailed to us.

The blade still sharpens very nicely and can hold its edge. The handle has a small oval with a rattlesnake. The snake is also on the blade.

There is some wear to the wood, as you might expect. Some other Crosman knives from the same era reportedly were made by Camillus, and it would make sense that Camilus made this special version, too.

Around 1990, I accidentally left the knife outside and didn't find it for months. The knife held up well, although there was some corrosion on the bolster, which I cleaned up with a wire brush.

For a 35+-year-old knife, it still looks good.

Welcome to AAPK! First one of those I’ve seen. I would agree, probably made by Camillus.

Still looks good...I wouldn't have guessed it's history of 35 years old and being outside. Also...welcome to AAPK. ::tu::

Thanks all for the nice welcome.

My brother and I have always carried a folding knife. My dad had a small two-blade pocket knife that he always carried. When we were little, he used it to remove splinters from our fingers.

The Crosman has held up well. Compared with today's knives, it seems antiquated. However, the blade still holds a nice edge, and so it does the job.

First of all welcome! The Crosman line had a ton of interesting patterns, many (such as the Scout and Stockman patterns) that had locks on the main blades when the regular models did not.
