MASON & SONS, CANTON O

Postby dlr110 » Sun Mar 10, 2019 12:50 pm

Does anyone have any information on the MASON & SONS Knives. This is the only one I have found and I'm not having much luck at finding any documentation about the company.

You have an oldie there, circa 1871-1875. Samuel Mason and his son Henry were in PA till they moved to Canton in 1871, this according to the latest Goins. Samuel helped to to get a few cutleries started, Northfield, Binns & Mason, Pittsburgh Cutlery and Beaver falls.

Great knife, attached are pics of one I have but does not have Canton marked on it. Might be older?
