I don't know about you James, but for me it was the Wharncliffe blade. You treated yourself very well. I think you got yourself a fine knife there.
Got my first one from Ozzie Marie at the Janesville WI show back in the spring of 2012. It was a win-win. It was my first Swayback Jack and it was my first Tony Bose authorized knife. Got my second one last year off eBay because, well, just because.

Those are a nice pattern from case. I have a two blade one but I never use it, I just like having it.

It is definitely the Wharncliffe that does it for me.

It is a very attractive pattern. A heck of a treat!
I have one of those (different bone) that I used to carry in my vest pocket. I mostly gave up carrying mine because I kept nicking my index finger or the webbing of my thumb when it snapped closed. Something about it is just not right for my hand, but I still enjoy fondling it (blade closed!).

Never paid attention to the sway backs but looking at the pic with it closed has my interest. Looks like an elegant design that would fit perfectly in a watch pocket. I have taken to carrying my GEC Dixie most of the time and a sway back might be a good companion for it.
