This knife was sold with boxes of Remington 22 ammunition.

I happen to have the metal box and brick of 500 .22LR rounds it would have come in, unless they did more than one pattern.

So you two are saying you could buy ammunition and it would come with a knife in the box?

I had one.It came in a package with a hole in the top to hang up,and 8 or 10 boxes of 22s and the knife was at the top,all covered with plastic. They may have done different packaging over the years.I think I got mine in the early to mid 80's.
