Hello Drop Zone:
Do not mean to appear more ignorant than usual, but I do not have a very good idea of what you mean by your subject. I am pretty sure you mean a navy rigging knife or several names they were called. I know very well what a camillus is and I have to imagine the marlin refers to the spike blade used for rope work. The 1915 baffles me, if it is the year of production or the stamped model number, I for one would really like to see it. So, if you would not mind please scan or photo all pertinent parts of your knife and post them for viewing.
Thanks for your help in making your request a thing that we can help with.

Camillus made a marlin spike (rigging) knife for the British and Canadian Navies during WWI. This knife has bone handles. spike, blade, old stlye can-opener with a stud and a copper clevis.

Just for the newer members here who might not know, member CAMCO is the former Company Historian for Camillus. You can take his opinion to the bank.

Value of the knife is subjective. A person who collects this type of knife might pay highly for it. But Camillus made many MANY thousands of military knives; only a few of them like the famous dagger are worth a lot of money.

P.S. Wouldn't it be a hoot if KK farmed out to Camillus for production.

I have a Camillus, Kutmaster and John Primble that look just alike except for the name on the tang. Did Camillus make all three? What are some of the other brands Camillus made? ::shrug::
