Recently aquired this knife but the sheath was aftermarket and junk. Got the knife sharp and cut right through the sheath. Had this one made by a local tack dealer who happens to be my good friend

Nice looking, but is there a third piece of leather between the front and back protecting the stitching from the blade edge? Knife is a cool one, too bad somebody buffed all the chrome finish from it.

there is a 3rd piece of leather. the sheath is very robust. the blade is shiny with a couple pits. you can actually see a reflection of a deer skull in it in the picture

Very nice!! Not a lot of sheaths are made properly with that extra leather piece. Knife is a great pattern and make although a bit worn and buffed.

Great pairing, knife and sheath, I like them both.
