The Sea man.

A member mentioned getting things pass a ball and chain, and into the round. This if from a pattern and carved with Bass wood. Used removable spray adhesive then a ban saw. About all was carved with two Flex Cut knives. Among the best. Pattern was copied and enlarged or reduced as needed.

The carving was painted with white GESSO then painted with acrylic paints. GESSO is a base usually in white or black. Used as a base to seal artist canvas before oil painting. I have a dogs head I painted with black only, with glass eyes.
