All About Pocket Knives

To All Veterans and Members of our Armed Forces on this site and those who fit the category that otherwise may be reading this.

I have labored with the question where should I post this. My decision is here in general discussion. My points for here are whether A Bayonet A MILK
Knife A TL-29 A Fighting Knife A Jet Pilots Knife A survival Knife A
Machete or one of various Utility type Knives including Quartermaster and im sure many others. All of the subject people have at one time or another used one of the afore listed or one that I have neglected to mention during their service to their country. By the way you active duty folks are all Vets of yesterdays service.

To all vets. I give you all the respect and gratitude and thanks for all you have given.I had a draft card for the Vietnam war but was young enough that I didn't get drafted. At the time I was glad I didn't have to go,but I truly have a sense of guilt because I didn't go. We lost 1 neighbor from my small community in Okla. Anyway, I still ,believe it or not,regret not going and doing my part. I honestly do feel guilty for not going and strongly support our troops wherever they are,and can't believe that there are people who don't support out troops.

Thank you for standing up and telling us your feeling.

I was rejected 3 times by the draft. Yes in a way I felt OK with it too.

Many at that time did not want the BOYS dieing in Nam and were against the war. To many bad rules we had to fallow (our hands were tied).
We as a nation did not give the soldiers the high five for helping and laying there live in the line. This is all in the past. Some good came out of it too.

As far as your feeling go now ("I truly have a sense of guilt because I didn't go."). Turn those feeling in to doing something to help the troopers that have volunteered for service now.

Thats about the best I can help you with your guilt.
