I have the same knife: 488117; it is the best of all the 48's and really one of the best GEC's, but you don't know this until you get it in hand.

If you only want 1 #48 pattern GEC, this is the one to get. I can't say why, but this C.Campagna version outshines all the others. I am sure whomever buys this knife will be thrilled, at any price, but you can get a double thrill here because of the low price.

Fwiw, good price and the best single blade trapper I've had the pleasure of owning. Actually I have 3 of each I think. I believe them to be investment quality.

cb, is this the 2017 Knife With "New Diamond Jack" etch ?
Mine says "Chestnut Jigged Bone" but color looks the same as yours. Is "Antique Amber" on the tube lid ?
