It looks like a vintage Sheffield knife. I think it is rare to see this pattern in a USA made knife, Does the tang marking allow it to be given a date range ? I think it is a late 1800's knife ?

Goin's gives no special date. 1855-1960. Robeson made a fine little folding hook. Smaller than this, but that's Robeson.
With the hook one could think it may be an earlier knife.

Very nice Joe!! I found an IXL very similar to that about 4 months ago, would have been my first one with the hook. This lady probably in her mid eighties saw me with it when I had it at the counter to pay, she seemed to want it so bad, well she has it and I don't. I can look at yours I guess.

I misspoke when I mentioned the Robeson earlier.
I have an old Boker hook folder.
I showed it some time ago and Charlie mentioned that he had a similar Robeson. My confusion.

This little Boker is 1 9/16" closed.
