CCC pocket knife

This knife was part of my mother's estate but due to problems with a sibling, I never saw it and don't know whose it was. It might have been my maternal grandfather's knife but I don't know if he worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Depression. Also, I can't find the style of that Ccc logo anywhere. It almost looks like a Civil War-era font. The handle seems to be be hand-made of some sort of lead alloy, as the other side looks the same, sort of like a sloppy mortar job. Any help/speculation/advice would be greatly appreciated!
