Okapi Knives

Yeah I know their cheap, or are they?

I got this one in a lot of knives in which were two rare antique knives I was after. I was going to toss this one in the junk box but I looked it over and it is of better construction than another one I have. I guess the ones made in Germany were slightly better.

The handle is compressed wood with a nice inlay, has excellent blade snap both ways, the only negative on this one is the sideways blade play which I could remedy by tightening the pivot pin.

If you're brave enough please show yours here!

That's a nice one with the inlays. I had not owned one of these until this year. I found them to be very light knives, but built with a purpose and a simplicity. Interesting pattern. Here is mine shown in this picture
