Hey y'all...
I need to try to find myself an entry level 2OT to put in my Old Timer collection.
(The reason I say "entry level" is because I'm not sure I can afford a good 'un)
(shoot... I haven't seen ANY for sale in a while!)
Anyway.....
If somebody has a parts 2OT they would
PART with (pun intended)...LOL.... I would sure like to have one.
(Surely some body has at least a parts knife they would let go.....right?)
Thanks for your consideration everyone!
Mike
PS.... you know.... the knife that looks like this...

I feel for you Mike. One time, not tooo long ago, I was in the same boat. I stayed at it and eventually I ended up with a bunch of them....
I now have the Schrade Factory Collection MINT 2 OT & 3 OT Knives and a Craftsman 2 OT in Good Condition.
I also had 3 or 4 others, that are no longer in my collection. One that was in Excellent Condition that I sold a dear friend and several parts type knives that I traded off to have a Customized 2 OT done up for myself. I ended up gifting the Customized 2 OT to my Niece.
Keep your head to the grindstone and one, that you can afford, will show up! I'll keep my eyes and ears open for you as well!

Thanks so much Tom. I appreciate your thoughtfulness!
I'm still looking everyday..... I sure hope one slides by my way soon.

Hey Mike, i have a used 2OT. All snaps very nice, no play, handles/bolsters are perfect, both blades have been sharpened AND master blade is tipped, about 1/16"-1/8" of tip is gone. Despite this it still feels so nice in hand. I don't think any knife has a better in hand feel than a 2OT.
I bought this some years ago when unused ones were selling at about $450. I think i paid about $200 for it. Prices are lower now but i don't know what is fair to ask. I can post pics in the morning. Send me a PM if you are interested and let's see if we are in the same ball park as to price.
