Late 1950s-60s is more like it. Delrin "Tree Bark" handles. It's a desirable knife, but a bit high I think.

Too bad this seller didn't have the new Boker book because then he would have known the correct dates for this model.

Look at the front handle, near top edge. There appear to be 2 holes, possibly from a 'hot pin test'.
Did Boker ever use plastic handles 'jigged' to resemble bone before the advent of Delrin in 1960 ?
I am away from my BOKER book for a few days so i cannot look to see if this might be answered there.

For posterity here is the OP knife. Posting a picture here for future researchers, so after eBay has dumped the pictures it will be here. BTW Boker still makes this pattern - it's in their current catalog.

I don't think I've ever seen Solingen Bokers use this, but BOKER USA used a material from the late 1940s up until the 1960s.
It looked like black plastic. There is some debate about whether it is celluloid, or nylon, or something else entirely. In the catalogs I've seen it called "imitation stag" and possibly "molded bone". You still see a lot of them floating around. Here's a pic.
