Case XX PVD blades

Postby Meigscl » Fri Dec 07, 2018 5:48 pm

Has anyone gotten a PVD blade Case knife yet? I sort of want to buy one just because I don't have one, but wondered what people think about them.

As for ease of sharpening, edge retention, durability, I have no idea.
I just don't care for the looks of 'em.

But that's me.
Take care and God bless,

Nope, don't own one and don't really want one. Never have seen the need for coated blades of any type, especially when they cost extra.

If I had extra money to throw around I'd probably buy one just to see. I like the looks of them. ::tu::

To me it's just an unneeded coating that's going to get scratched up if used and look like crap. They look okay when new. But in general I hate coated blades JMHO

But does it have any real benefits? Like making stuff such as tape easier to come off?

I don't know the answer but man, that sure would be nice. I hate when tape sticks to my blades and it happens all the time.
