All About Pocket Knives

And now, to the horror of all, I open a topic for my handmade knives.
First knife in my new humble workshop. The 13th knife I made. Not quite ready, but the rest is cosmetic.

I’m horrified, but only because I haven’t seen the other twelve!

Thank you! The steel is becut, hardened to 58 HRC. Тhe handle is oak and horn, but will undergo some changes.

A brief retrospection of 4 years ago when I decided I wanted to make knives. Average speed - 3 knives per year
Аrranged according to the order of made, as far as I remember. The first is easily recognizable
I did not find any pictures for one.

Eustace, I can see the progression in each knife. That last one is night and day more improved that the 1st one. None are bad, all really look usable. I am proud for you, and now with your basement shop I bet things really flow. Thanks for sharing them all.

No. Ferric chloride etching. I do not have working conditions for forging. All my knives are grinded bars.

Finaly No.14 is ready. Steel 1.4112/440B, 58 HRC. Hаndle brass, tagua nut, cow horn, deer horn, wallnut.
