Gust. Haker. Solingen. Sleeve board pen with horn covers. 2 15/16" closed.
Again, the catch bit allows for a very long main blade.
A fine little knife.

That's a beautiful little knife Joe, love those handles

I have a small bartenders MOP by Gust Haker, have never been able to find any information on it? I will post it tomorrow if I don't forget.

I like pen knives and many of the vintage German ones are well made and often unused. I began collecting them years ago because prices were so low i could not resist and prices have not changed much to this day. They are under appreciated by collectors.
Are there salesman numbers on back of master ?

Nice looking German model, Joe.
Good timing to show it on the company's 100 year anniversary.

Thank you, Neal.
I did very little research on this knife. I simply couldn't spend the time.
It's nice to know something fell together.
Thank you for that.

Hi buddyie22, sorry to be so late getting back to this post.
A catch bit is a brass (usually) spacer that is used to push over the secondary blade to make room for a long main blade in the blade well.
Actually, because it is there the secondary must be thinner therefore making room for the main blade.
See picture.
