Picked this up a few months ago. I am guessing this is a whittler, but what model?

Thanks
Tom

Tom, yes it's a whittler and appears to be a 364 from the 1940's or 19450's. Nice early knife. They didn't make a lot of whittlers and seemed to prefer making stockman knives. ___Dave

The pattern is a Sleeveboard Whittler. "Sleeveboard" because the taper of the frame is like a sleeveboard used to aid in ironing shirts.
Anyone here still know how to properly iron a shirt ? Like sharpening a straight razor, it is now a largely lost ability. Only a few old guys still know.
