Starting out on a ten day driving tour of New Mexico today! Anyone know of a good place to look for old knives??
I'll report back with finds, and pictures!!

Don't really know about older knives, but man oh man, some great knifemakers in New Mexico...
Bob Terzoula, Richard Rogers, Jay Fisher, Ty Montell...and many others.
Hope you find something.

Jay Fisher likely uses more gemstone in his knife handles than any other knifemaker.

I just went to his site and his latest honor is:
2007 Best of the West Source book published by True West Magazine, Jay Fisher is listed as the Best Living Knifemaker!
There is a lot of informatiom on him and
his knives are a treat on your eyes!
Since there is Gemstones, this
DOES count as one of the afore mentioned stops for the wife.
