I'm trying to cover all my bases in this Barlow Jack knife custom configuration. This knife was made by Gary Crowder in Jigged Brown Bone and ATS 34 with Filework and half stops. 8)

That's a fine looking piece Ralph. That is the first one I've seen with engraving work.

Gary has been on my "one of these days" list for awhile now.

Very nice!

That's a beauty Ralph! ::drool:: ::drool:: Did Gary do his own engraving? I have been noticing a trend with some knifemakers doing all their own work. I have seen some of Dan Duschane's (file working DVD) engraving on some of Johhnie Stout's knives. For a beginner at engraving (very different from filework) he sure is do a fantastic job! ::tu:: ::tu::

Are the bolsters 416SS? Great looking knife. Once again I must make this most generous offer to hang on to it for a complete and thorough evaluation. I'm sure it would enjoy N. California weather for a couple years!!!

Why have frozen OJ when you can have fresh from the farm.. My son and I went to Orange grove today to let him shoot his new 243 cal rifle he got for his birthday and I took this picture of a Sunburst Tangerine..Mmmm Juicy..

Thanks guys for the great compliments, your input and thoughts are most appreciated. I told ya there was a method to my madness of selling off a large portion of my knives.. :)

Hukk the engraving was completed by Jody Muller. I don't know about the bolster material being 416SS but I do know the pins and liners are nickel silver. I'll try to find out for you..

That does look like a tasty orange. Bet that 243 can peel 'em pretty quickly !
