Actually I do not believe this one would be considered counterfeit,
I don't think this style ever existed in the 1st place.
This folder was made by Novelty company's knowing the public would buy just because of thew WW II image.
You can still buy these knives for I think $8 - $12.
I think this person tried to get this one rusted up to give it that "Vintage" look.

Thanks for the info SFC ADP. I only know that several of these are considered officers swords, one of which is referred to as a RAD, and another is a Hitler Youth knife dagger. All very inexpensive reproductions. Not that I'm a Nazi sympathizer, but I have a small amount of reproductions that I've accumulated.

I have quite a few WW 2 nazi Items, and I am no sympathizer either. I think that is a label people throw around too much these days. My grandfather brought these items back from the war, so they hold sentimental value, as he is no longer with us, and there is the obvious historical value. I do have a Nazi Youth Knife, and a German Bayonet he gave me as well.
Now I have posted 2 knives, one is the one you listed, which was given to me as a gift. It has a very light etch of China on the back side of the blade, and would be very easy to remove.
Also attached are the medals that my Grandfather brought back from the war.
